Providence Farm in McLeansville offers a unique, hands-on summer camp experience where kids become farmers for the week while learning about sustainable living and regenerative agriculture.
This highly interactive camp immerses children in real farm life through activities like animal care, planting and harvesting, habitat exploration, and food systems education. Campers will also explore traditional skills such as fire starting, cooking over a fire, herbalism, foraging, soap making, and fiber arts.
With a focus on responsible stewardship, problem-solving, and connection to the land, Providence Farm provides an enriching outdoor experience that blends learning, creativity, and fun.
Campers will get their hands dirty—testing soil and water, building projects, and exploring the natural environment—while developing a deeper understanding of where food comes from and how we care for the earth.
Each Friday, campers participate in a special “Farm to Fork” experience, preparing and enjoying a meal together.
