The Sickle Cell Summer Enrichment Camp is a meaningful and supportive overnight camp experience designed specifically for children living with sickle cell disease.
Hosted by Piedmont Health Services and Sickle Cell Agency, this annual camp provides a safe, fun, and enriching environment where campers can build friendships, gain confidence, and enjoy a traditional camp experience tailored to their needs.
Campers will spend the week at Camp Carefree in Stokesdale, participating in engaging activities, social connection, and age-appropriate programming—all while being supported by trained staff focused on health, safety, and well-being.
This special camp creates a space where children can connect with others who share similar experiences, while enjoying a positive and memorable summer adventure.
