Looking for a meaningful summer experience for teens in Greensboro? The Growing Minds, Growing Communities Service Learning Camp is a unique two-week program that blends gardening, literacy, and community engagement to help students understand how they can make a real impact.
Held at the Greensboro Curb Market, this hands-on camp explores how food security, environmental stewardship, literacy, and education advocacy are all connected. Campers will participate in service projects, site visits, storytelling, and collaborative activities with local community partners.
Through these experiences, teens will build leadership skills, think critically about real-world issues, and learn how access to food and education affects families and neighborhoods. Participants can earn up to 50 service hours per session, making this a great opportunity for students looking to give back while gaining valuable experience.
