True to their own mission to inspire, imagine, and create, Duck Tape ® has launched a new program, to encourage moms, dads, and kids to bring their home-school and home organization ideas to life. Macaroni Kid Tri-Cities was selected to host a Duck Tape® Maker™ creative party for our local homeschool mamas (and daddies). The challenge was to be completely unique and brand new with their Duck Tape® creations and our group did not disappoint; they were amazing! See how amazing in our YouTube video below!
Thirty homeschool kids of all ages, along with their moms and dads worked together to bring their inspirations to life! We created everything from practical bags for kids to organize their supplies on the go, armband storage for weekly memorization homework, Duck Tape® solar system, fidget spinner made with Duck Tape®, a Duck Tape® volcano that erupted, Duck Tape® decorated tin cans bound together with Duck Tape® for easy storage and access to markers, crayons, pencils and more. Our kiddos were true makers who transformed colorful rolls of Duck Tape® into engineered masterpieces and works of art using their natural curiosity, thirst for self-discovery and exploration, and passion to break through limits to create something extraordinary; but with practical application at home and on the road.
One family, before the party, asked what challenges they faced while homeschooling? This family is very active within their community, which makes staying organized on-the-go difficult.
